The Secretary of Commerce has determined that the purposes for which the Climate Services Advisory Committee was established have been fulfilled, and the committee has been terminated effective February 28, 2025.
The CSAC advises the Under Secretary of Commerce for Oceans and Atmosphere on how to improve the accessibility, effectiveness, and use of NOAA's data, information, science, tools, and decision support that prepare our nation for droughts, floods, wildfires, heatwaves, and other impacts. The CSAC advises the Under Secretary on other relevant matters upon request.
After a call for nominations, in January 2025 the following individuals were appointed by the Under Secretary of Commerce for Oceans and Atmosphere and NOAA Administrator to be members of the Climate Services Advisory Committee. In alphabetical order:
